XML became a W3C Recommendation early 1998 however it did not reach critical mass until 2002 due to the lack of tools to simplify the process of interpreting the files. Despite this hiccup XML has grown in popularity and use across the Internet. It is an excellent language for providing and sharing open data. The use of XML has created a great number of opportunities which allows site owners to share news and information using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. Slightly more complex XML coupled with SOAP and/or WDSL has allowed companies like Amazon to build a network of affiliates to sell their products with live product and price updates. |

We have built several product "stores" which link into Amazon's Web Services engine giving customers the ability to create and manage their own online shop with Amazon products. Working with PR Newswire we have also been able to link in to a number of live XML and RSS news feeds to provide up to the minute news on client sites improving search engine visibility. |

More recently we have been using XML as the source for content on websites and Flash based websites. We have started introducing tools to endusers allowing them to take advantage of the capabilites of XML. Watch our company news for details on how these new services may be of benefit to you. |
